You can have multiple costume and appearance items for your character in Final Fantasy XIV. With the addition of the "Frontier Outfit" to the game in Patch 5.5, players can now easily add an item to add this unique costume to their wardrobe. All of these items can be handcrafted by leatherworking and weavers, and they require certain materials. These ffxiv items are gender linked but can be colored and you can put them up for auction on the market board. Manufacture of Frontier Equipment The best way to reliably get Frontier costumes is by costume making. These are all parts of the set for each costume, separately for male and female characters and their material requirements. Male borderland outfit Border hat (1 border material, 3 saffron material) - weaver Border jacket (2 pieces of border fabric, 3 layers of Thylacoleo leather and 1 piece of saffron fabric) - leather workers Border trousers (1 border fabric, 3 saffron fabric and 1 layer of breastplate leather) - Weaver Border shoes (1 border cloth, 2 clove fat leather and 1 beech wood) - leather maker Frontier Gear for women Border tape (1 border cloth, 3 saffron cloth) - Weaver Borderland costume (2 borderland fabrics, 4 saffron fabrics) - weaver Border Gloves (1 Border Cloth, 3 Saffron Woodlands) - Weaver Grenzland pump (1 Grenzland fabric, 2 Thylacoleo leather and 1 beech wood) - leather processor You need a weaver and a tanner to craft different items. All parts of the costume are made of Frontier Cloth, Saffron Cloth, Thylacoleo Leather and Silver Beech Lumber. Of these four materials, Frontier Cloth is probably the most difficult to find. Skilled weavers make saffron cloth from raindrop cotton balls, fruits, lightning and wind mass. The thylacoleo leather is made by a leather master. Silver beech wood is made from a combination of silver beech trunks and horsetail by a skilled carpenter. If you are looking for boundary material, you will only find it if you complete the level 80 cards, the Zonureskin cards from Time Wear. You can complete these maps or buy Frontier Cloth from the Marketplace Committee, but it's a material worth about 6 million gil. We strongly recommend that you fill out the cards instead. Purchase of border cloth at the market council Any item in the costume can be auctioned on the Market Council. However, this is probably the most expensive way to buy gear, as each item can cost almost 3 million final fantasy xiv gil. This is most likely because Frontier Cloth is expensive and difficult to find in this material. It's best not to do every piece unless you have a large bag full of gil and are ready to make room to add a Frontier outfit to your collection.
