World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic was released earlier this year and offers World of Warcraft: Classic players a much-needed update to the game. The source book adds a new continent to Outland, several new stump instances, and 10 new levels of content for players to battle through.

Just like when TBC Classic was released two years ago, the content for Burning Crusade will be released in phases over a period of several months. The second phase of TBC Classic is just around the corner and players are preparing for the expansion pack's first major content update since its launch.

This is all of the content you can expect to start with Phase 2.

Two new raids will appear in TBC: The Game's second phase of Classic: Storm Castle and Serpent Temple Caves. These raids will be published on the Classic server in a "pre-nerf" state, giving players the chance to experience what happened in the early days of the Burning Crusade 14 years ago.

Stormwind's infamous exploits at the time of original release are likely to be fixed and completed. The Serpent's Shrine Cave is almost impossible to tackle due to its sheer difficulty, but it still represents a formidable challenge for players of all skill levels and equipment levels. However, if you and your guild are still struggling with the first phase of the raid, you will be pleased that the PvE content will be defused at the beginning of the second phase.

If you know the modern version of World of Warcraft, the first update after a source book is published usually brings a huge new area with lots of new quests. This is not the case with Burning Crusade. Instead, the only new open world content players can play to their hearts' content is the daily quests for two new factions: the Ogryla and the Shathar Skyguard. The latter faction rewards players who reach a high Prestige level with the iconic Mount Rift Ray. The Rift Ray is the best-crafted mount in the Burning Crusade, and it's definitely worth fighting for in Phase 2.

The game's second PvP season is fast approaching with the arrival of the second phase of TBC Classic. Season two of TBC Classic PvP will introduce several radical changes to the game, but none of them are bigger than the changes to the PvP gear.

In the second phase, the equipping process will be expanded to include faction combat armor, which is essentially a shortcut for new level 70 players to equip and get ready for PvP content. In order to receive faction warjacks, players must have at least one prestige level in a particular faction. In addition to these changes, players can expect the PvP leaderboard to reset and increase the number of Arena Points players earn in tournaments. The equipment bought with these arena points will also be reduced in price in phase 2.

In addition, the update of the queuing system for players participating in Jedi Quest should take place in phase 2. Blizzard tested Battlefield matches between members of the same camp to reduce waiting times on the Classic servers.

Some quality of life improvements, such as the guild bank and druid fast flight form, will be added to Burning Crusade Classic gold in Phase 2. However, nothing will have a greater impact on the game than the "Find a Group" tool on the server once Phase 2 has started.

This tool will allow players to recruit others to dungeons and groups, but the process will not be fully automated. You still have to put some effort into getting players to join your team. In addition, you cannot recruit players who play on other servers to your team. While this new feature won't be as mature as the automatic dungeon finder built into the game in Wrath of the Lich King (and which still exists in modern World of Warcraft), it lays the foundation for that.

Before the "No Change" faction shows up with their pitchforks, it should be remembered that the original version of Burning Crusade had a group search tool. With Classic, Blizzard has kept the spirit of the original feature while trying to modernize it and optimize it even more than in 2007.
