Amazon Games Workshop may have gone too far with production as players are starting to realize that it may not be worth the effort.

A fanciful New World gamer set out to create a spreadsheet-based video to prove that maximizing arms trading skills is not worthwhile right now.

First of all, leveling involves sanding a lot of material. Not only will you gain experience and money, but also materials to improve your armor skills. For example, if you go for the light armor, you would need a total of 278,730 fibers to reach level 200. This is a huge win.

On the other hand, if you end up with a decent expense, it's probably worth the effort, isn't it? Well not really. Depending on the price of materials, you can lose over 50,000 new world gold just building your trading skills, and then a bunch of money on the armorer set, which reliably consists of five pieces of equipment if you want to be able to make 600 GS.

What is really annoying is that in addition to the weapon master set you also need groceries that increase the GS scores and three houses with T3 armor trophies. All of this is expensive, but more importantly, finding someone willing to sell Armorer's Journal or Precision Tools can be difficult too.

So after all the pain you have still not reaped the fruits of your labor because you now have to deal with the time-limited material refinement. After spending a week or so getting enough materials to make armor, you're left to chance, which can easily lead to useless stats or perks on the armor that takes an arm, a leg, and a week to make.

Of course, polishing your watermarks and making a fortune in the process and selling what you want and keeping what you want is far more efficient.
